Currently laboring fiendishly as a Postdoc at MIT after getting a PhD at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Studies how catalysts do their voodoo magic of chilling out and converting molecules like it ain't no biggie in the hopes of understanding how to best use both our renewable and limited energy sources. Fell in love with the academic lifestyle of teaching enthusiastic classrooms and learning from brilliant professors, and started a podcast to learn from brilliant friends and colleagues and to teach to whoever is willing to listen!

Inveterate questioner. Never actually learned calculus. Only had 3 weeks of physics classes. Definitely still entranced by those "What really happened to the dinosaurs?!" PBS specials. Currently works at a Software company in Customer Success and still badgers new people he meets with probing questions about what they do!
